A ground-up custom residence built to sit quietly in its desert setting rather than compete with it.
A gut remodel in an established corridor means working carefully within what the existing structure will allow. The house was taken back to its frame, which gave us the room to correct a plan that had been added to over the years without much of a governing idea.
Systems, insulation and finishes were rebuilt throughout, and the result is a home that performs like new construction while keeping its place on the street.
